I know this family because big brother McClain was in Hannah’s class last year at preschool. He and his brother Rohan are so sweet and they are so close, always sticking close by each other. They are going to be great big brothers to a little sister that is due to arrive later next month.  Katie, the boys’ mom, told me that when they found out they were going to have a little sister McClain suggested naming her Hannah. How sweet is that! Katie and Travis you have a pretty special family, I am excited to meet your little girl very soon.

Benjamin was almost a month old by the time he had his session and he made his parents work hard for some sleepy shots. He was adorable with big, beautiful eyes. He looked like he was taking it all in with those soulful looks.

It is not often that you get to witness your mother’s wedding, let alone photograph it. After ten or so years of dating my mom, Lana and Dan were married. We are so excited to officially welcome Dan (aka ‘Pappy’) into the family. They celebrated by having a small intimate ceremony and inviting the rest of the family and a few friends to a lunch reception. It was held at the beautiful Country Club of Loch Lloyd and was perfect in every way.

A short, but funny speech was given by my brother, Justin. And my husband, Ben offered prayer (assisted by Gavin).

Dan and his parents, Joyce and Dan Sr. We were so thankful that they were able to travel from Maryland to be there.

 Hannah and Abby were excited to be asked to hand out candy to the guests. They made sure no one was missed. And they are of course smitten with ‘Pappy’.

 All of the excitement wore Gavin out. Can you tell he is our third? Love him!

I have been anxiously waiting for everyone to get her birth announcements before posting any of her pictures on here–my newest little niece Jocelyn Lillie has made her arrival. Charlotte has been a great big sister. I may be biased but I think the girls are  adorable!!
